Team Mercedes Benz p/b Thrivent Financial races Spring Breakout #3 by Bob's Bicycles, April 29, 2017
The final road race of the Spring Breakout Series Presented by Bob's Bicycles was a fitting final to the 3 race series. the Men's Cat 1/2 was 80 miles and most were ready for it. the race started out on a very cold 35 degree morning, warming up to 50 before the end. The riders were ready, and went after it. I don;t know the strategy of any of the teams, But Team Mercedes pulled off a complete win, Jeremy, Josh, Kai, Brandon, Kyle, Rob S finishing 1-6. Todd popped in 10. For the overall series win, it was Jeremy Ward, Kai Applequist and Brandon Lynch 1-2-3 with Rob Sceffler and Josh Howard 4 and 5. a great sweep for the team.
Bob's did a great job putting on the series. Denise and I have to thank them all, the Presenters and the race officials were very gracious to us, allowing us to go where we needed to get the shots. We thank them for allowing us to be there.
Great job to everyone who raced. We have photos in here of the 3's, and the 4/5s. we also have the start of the Men's Masters race, just caught the takeoff.
