Tour of Walla Walla Stage Race; Stage 4 Kellogg Hollow Road Race- April 14, 2019
The Kellogg Road Race was the final stage of the Tour of Walla Walla. The Pro/1/2 race was 90.3 miles with 6450 ft of elevation. Four of the team survived to make the final stage. Team Mercedes road hard and fast the first part of the race. At least the rain held off and did not menace the racers. The cold was biting but at least not freezing. Jeremy and Todd both ended up dropping part way through. Brandon finished 25th and Kai finished 6th in the final race. From looking at the final results it appears over half the riders in this CAT did not finish. Although the entire team did not make it to the end, Team Mercedes is still a formidable team capable of winning races. Congrats to all the Boise racers who participated and tip of the hat to the finishers!.
Also a correction to the results of the Waitsburg RR, Kai finished second in an almost dead heat sprint to the finish. Gee he can sprint! Oh and there are a few pics mixed in here of the CAT 4/5 and the CAT 3 riders.
Enjoy the pics,
Dave and Nec
