Alberg Sports Plain Road Race, May 3, 2019-Stage 1
The Plain Road Race will start and finish near Plain Cellars in the bustling village of Plain. This year’s edition will utilize roads north and west of Plain, including some along the north shore of scenic Lake Wenatchee. The finish line will be near the top of Beaver Hill. The race was 74 miles long.
Team Mercedes Benz p/b Insiduous Designs from Boise and also Team Bobs Bicycles from Boise both showed up for the race. They represented the City of Boise very well.
Kai finished 7th and Jeremy finished 30th in the first race of the series. Allan Schroeder of Team Bobs showed well at 22nd in this stage.
Weather was cool but dry and not a factor.
This gallery has more than the normal number of photographs. Along with the staple from Pro 1/2, there are photos from Men's 4/5, Men's 3, Masters, and Women's 1/2/3.
A photo of the lead car for each Cat separates most but not all of each series of riders.
Also note, downloads are at no cost to you.
