Team Mercedes Benz p/b Insidious Designs races Spring Breakout #1 by Bob's Bicycles, March 31, 2018

Team Mercedes went after the first local race of the year, the race sponsored by and put on by Bob's Bicycles. Team members Jeremy, Kai, Josh, Brandon, Todd, and Gabe turned out today for the race. Not an ice cold morning, for once, and the team was ready. Along with Team Mercedes, Bob's Bicycles, Team Upcycle and Sturtevants from Sun Valley were well represented in the Men's Cat 1/2 race. The race today was 66 miles, a short one. Jeremy picked up a staple or goat head at the end of the first lap, and fell behind after swiftly replacing his tube. Try as he might, he was not able to close the four minute gap created during his repair. There are photos of the race in progress as well, as the finish line of the 3's as well as the 1/2 race. There are also a few shots of the other Cats later in their race. In the end, Josh lost by a razor thin tire edge to Jamey Yanik of Team Bobs-Bicycles. Kai finished 3rd, Gabe 7th. Todd, 13th.
